About The Position
Garden Center Indoor Plant Care Teammate Your Future Role: Our retail indoor plant care teammates are plant lovers who love taking care of plants and working with people. This role serves as the primary caregiver of our indoor plants by ensuring they are watered and properly reviewed for the highest quality daily and get them ready for their new home. In addition, to caring for our plants these teammates play vital role in educating our customers on the proper care as well as actively selling products to our customers. You may be asked to work in various roles based on customer needs which can include but not limited to: Cashiering, outdoor plant care and stocking support.
Requirements
- Applicant must be able to lift 25 lbs
- Applicant must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Applicant must be able to work outdoors for an extended period of time.
- Minimal experience required- passion for a plants a must.

- Experience or Education in indoor plants
Responsibilities
- Upholds Moana Nursery's strict safety policies
- Shows up on time ready work
- Greets customers with a warm smile
- Promptly responds to customer needs, requests for service or assistance
- Communicates using radios to other Moana teammates
- Takes care of plants in our inventory as directed by manager
- Sells plants based on customer needs
- Helps customers navigate through the store and to the correct resource
- Maintains a clean and organized work space
- Participates in cleaning and organizing throughout the store
- Helps restock our product
- Learns as much as they can
- Answers questions concerning price, sales, services and programs
- Provides outstanding customer service
