About The Position

Apply garage expertise to generate industry leading prototype products for our customers. Will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with numerous internal and external teams to meet deadlines.

Requirements

General metal fabrication skills
Ability to use a MIG welder
HS graduate or equivalent
AA degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
3+ years of automotive shock absorber prototyping or similar experience.
Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
Driving motor vehicles is required for this position along with having an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

ASE Certification preferred

Responsibilities

Understand Technical problems effectively through proper analysis, evaluation, and diagnosis.
May provide training to junior level staff on how to identify and resolve issues, repairs etc.
Can operate all vehicles in the scope of work under normal riding conditions.
Maintain vehicle upkeep, maintenance record, registration, and insurance.
Use a shock dynamometer on a regular basis to assist in builds and tuning.
Machine components by following instructions or drawings. Can give feedback on drawings based on the limitations of the machines.
