About The Position
As a Lab Manager, the selected candidate will be fulltime onsite at our Client's Site in Atlanta, GA. The selected candidate will maintain The Garage Makerspace, the equipment, and assist with the planning and execution of events. In addition to this, specific project work could also be part of the job. The candidate must be extremely resourceful and able to deal with ambiguity; possess solid project management and problem-solving skills; be able to work independently and effectively under pressure and within short time constraints; prioritize while multi-tasking; must be personable and have solid communications skills; and, be flexible in the performance of the job responsibilities. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our innovation lab, maintaining state-of-the-art machinery and robots, and fostering a culture of innovation in STEM education. Being a self-starter who is comfortable with minimal supervision is essential to the success in this role. You will work to achieve the highest standards and client satisfaction. The ability to work individually and as a team from the client site, facing customers to meet the proposed delivery of overall services to our client is the reality of this role.
