Requirements

  • 1-2 years of sales experience in the trades or home services industry
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Basic math and computer knowledge
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized in a fast- paced environment
  • Willingness to learn about products and improve sales techniques

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one year of experience in new home trade sales
  • Tech – savvy with experience using ServiceTitan (or willingness to learn)
  • Familiarity with garage door products and services

Responsibilities

  • Obtain necessary information from customers/ contractors and provide job estimates offering expert advice on product options, styles, and solutions
  • Drive sales by actively seeking new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person meetings with potential customers
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle from initial consultation to post-installation follow-up, ensuring a smooth customer experience
  • Build lasting relationships with clients through exceptional service and clear communication
  • Accurately log all customer interactions and sales activities to ensure effective follow-up
  • Maintain a professional image and represent Garage Door Services with integrity and expertise
