About The Position

SPILKER PACIFIC LLC is currently accepting resumes for a full-time, hourly Garage Door Installer in Post Falls, ID. The company is a joint venture of Smith Overhead Door Company, Inc. and Pacific Coast Building Products, Inc., a family-owned business since 1953. They are committed to providing commercial overhead door needs, including selling, servicing, installing, and assisting in the design of special products such as coiling doors, service doors, rated doors, security grills, and elevator smoke protection doors. The role involves ensuring proper materials and equipment are on the truck, driving to and from commercial/residential job sites, unloading materials, installing doors and openers according to standards, cleaning job sites, checking and correcting errors, accounting for materials and time, and adhering to all safety rules.

Requirements

• A valid ID driver’s license (with a good driving record).
• Ability to lift in excess of 75 lbs.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year installing garage doors on commercial/residential projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assures there is sufficient and appropriate material and equipment on truck to adequately complete the assigned jobs.
• Drives to and from commercial/residential job sites and unloads garage doors materials at the job site.
• Cleans job site daily after work is completed.
• Installs doors and openers in accordance with company and manufacturers standards.
• Checks work for errors and corrects them if necessary.
• Accounts for material and time used on each job, and reports paperwork daily.
• Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Other duties as assigned.
