About The Position

The Service Technician position is a full-time, on-site role located in Farmers Branch, TX. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals with no prior experience, as the company provides training and pays you while you learn. Starting as a paid apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience with expert technicians and have the potential to graduate to a Service Technician role, earning between $55,000 to $100,000+ per year.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites in the service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer.
• Be available to work nights or weekends on a rotating basis.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and installing garage doors, garage door openers, moving and lifting other heavy objects, and often climbing on a ladder while working.
• Identify, report, and educate the homeowner on potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services).
• Willing to learn the company's system; participate in company-provided training opportunities on the latest industry technologies.
• Other job duties as assigned by your leader.
