About The Position

The GAP Claims Administrator will perform various tasks related to claims processing and support, specifically for GAP and Theft claims. This role requires efficient organization and review of claim documentation, including loan documents, police reports, and insurance evaluations. The administrator will be responsible for approving payments for GAP claims accurately and in a timely manner. Additionally, the position involves providing phone support, where the administrator will receive and process calls, faxes, and emails from various stakeholders such as contract holders, insurance companies, police departments, banks, accounting offices, and dealerships. Handling customer concerns and inquiries positively is a key aspect of this role. The administrator will also be tasked with reporting and analysis, which includes reporting weekly and monthly claims data to the appropriate departments and analyzing claims data for trends and controls. Maintaining software and keeping the database current with accurate customer, vehicle, user, and bank information is another important responsibility. Furthermore, the administrator will provide support for other departments and contracts as needed, which involves receiving communications for other types of contracts and claims and relaying information to the appropriate adjuster.
