About The Position

Step into a hands-on operations role where you guide components through the full irradiation cycle—from receipt to release. You’ll handle totes, place and read dosimeters, operate the irradiator console, and keep meticulous electronic records to ensure every product is processed correctly and safely.

Requirements

2 years of manufacturing experience required, or an advanced education degree (2- or 4-year) in lieu of experience.
High School Diploma/GED preferred.
Strong reading and math comprehension.
Clear written & verbal communication.
Excellent attention to detail and proven problem-solving ability.
PC proficiency, including MS Outlook & Excel and comfort with web-based applications.

Nice To Haves

Radiation Safety Certification and Forklift Certification.
Experience working in an aseptic environment.
Warehouse Management Systems experience (ERP Lx preferred).

Responsibilities

Receive and unload trucks with non-sterile components, prepping items for processing while maintaining strict separation of sterile and non-sterile materials.
Load and unload totes; place dosimeters on product and transfer pre-sterilized product into the APA.
Use a digital micrometer and spectrophotometer to read dosimeters and verify dose results.
Operate the Irradiator Console: set timer parameters, clear settings/faults, and monitor the cycle.
Troubleshoot issues by interpreting program logic controller (PLC) display indicators and repositioning switches, totes, and sensors along the source pass and the entry/exit conveyors.
Run the industrial irradiator safely and efficiently to achieve proper sterilization during irradiation operations.
Perform accurate PC data entry, including dosimetry details and basic inventory receipt transactions in ERP Lx.
