HOURLY RATE: $14.00 USD PER HOUR JOB SUMMARY It is the primary responsibility of the Midway Game operator to give great customer service while maintaining game operations. HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY Clean game area at end of shift and assist with trash duty Other job duties as may be assigned Stock merchandise when assigned Repair merchandise when assigned Direct problems to supervisor Help maintain a safe work environment Encourage customers to play midway games, explain game objectives, awards prizes and explain rules Encourage customers to play midway games, explain game objectives, awards prizes and explain rules Exemplify our core values, family style service, our mission and vision Exemplify our DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) culture Performs other job-related duties as assigned WHAT YOU WILL NEED Previous Customer Service experience preferred. Previous experience working in a similar resort setting preferred. Ability to perform basic math Ability to understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures Excellent customer service skills Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms High School Education or Equivalent ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand for long periods of time Work is performed in an area which may be unusually hot, crowded and noisy Mobility to include bending, reaching, prolonged standing and walking, accessing and lifting items from floor level to six feet high Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS : Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS : Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
