About The Position
2024-25 LHS Winter Athletics JOB DESCRIPTION Extra Helper/Miscellaneous - Assisting with any duties throughout the contest. Assisting with clean up after the contest. Announcer - Sports announcers describe the action and provide colorful commentary for broadcasts of sporting events. Clock/Scorekeeper - The scorekeeper's primary responsibility is to accurately record a game's score. Each time a team scores one or more points, the scorekeeper must post the updated score on the scoreboard. A scorekeeper might also be responsible for keeping time by starting and stopping the clock according to the rules of the game. Make sure you are paying attention to the game at all times. Ticket Windows/Gate One person handles money. One person does stamps and tickets. Ticket Sheet: Please make sure to write the first ticket sold and the last ticket sold.
