About The Position

This full-time technical engineering position is part of the Virtual Prototyping group within Lockheed Martin's Advanced Development Programs, known as Skunk Works, located in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on providing advanced visualization services and solutions through Modeling and Simulation (M&S) to enhance decision-making and support the complete product life cycle. The candidate will develop, integrate, and apply various modeling and simulation technologies, particularly in real-time 3D applications, augmented reality, and virtual reality, to assist in program development and execution.

Requirements

• Programming or scripting experience.
• Experience with real-time 3D tools and game engine programming.
• Experience in Augmented or Virtual Reality (AR/VR).
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Unity or Unreal Professional.
• Experience with gaming technologies such as Unreal, CryEngine, and Prepar3D.
• Full stack application development experience.
• 3D graphics programming including GPGPU, OpenGL, DirectX.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, .Net, VB, XML, Perl.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) approaches and 3D content development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate modeling and simulation technologies for advanced visualization.
• Work with the Virtual Prototyping software development team on real-time 3D M&S applications.
• Collaborate with a multi-site software development team to meet program requirements.
• Conduct additional M&S research and development tasks as needed.
• Apply programming skills for rapid software prototyping and integration into 3D applications.
