About The Position

The game day operation manager works alongside the program director to Help Kids Succeed in Life Through Sports! The game day operations manager manages the game day operations of the local sports franchise including coach recruitment, oversite of game-day operations, and customer service. In their role, the game day operations manager ensures the highest level of brand standards are executed and core concepts are continuously demonstrated.

Requirements

• Excellent communication & organization skills
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
• Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
• Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
• Ability to work a weekend only work schedule
• Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check

Responsibilities

• Manage/supervise part-time staff members and volunteer coaches
• Serve as a lead for all league-wide communications on game days
• Oversee rosters, schedules, and programming for various sports
• Oversee the daily operations of youth sports leagues, camps, and clinics
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
• Safely transport youth athletics equipment with SUV, van, or truck on game days preferred
