About The Position

The Game Day Merchandise Staff position at Charlotte Checkers is a part-time role focused on in-game merchandise sales during scheduled hockey games. Staff will be responsible for merchandise preparation, presentation, and execution, contributing to a professional and entertaining environment for fans. This role offers an opportunity to learn and grow within a structured setting while engaging with the community during the hockey season, which runs from October 2024 to mid-April 2025, with potential playoff extensions until June.

Responsibilities

  • Work at least 85% of scheduled Charlotte Checkers games in merchandise operations.
  • Create and maintain a merchandise in-game store from setup to breakdown for each game.
  • Assist in merchandise initiatives to increase outreach and ROI while satisfying fan interests.
  • Develop a strong understanding of retail software and inventory management.
