About The Position

The Game Day Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the Athletic Director with various aspects of game day management. This position involves a range of responsibilities that ensure the smooth operation of events, from player introductions to managing the scoreboard and overseeing the table crew. The assistant will also be responsible for maintaining order during the game and ensuring that all spectators are properly managed before, during, and after the event.

Responsibilities

• Assist Athletic Director with Game Day Management.
• Make all announcements before, during, and after the game.
• Make all player introductions before the start of the game.
• Operate the scoreboard and oversee the table crew as needed.
• Assist with any set-up and clean up as needed.
• Monitor the handshake at the end of the game.
• Check on both the Home Team and the Away Team to see if they need anything.
• Assist in keeping all non-players off the court before game, during half-time, and after game.
• Assist in getting spectators out of the gym at the completion of the game.

Benefits

• Compensation: $25.00 per hour
