About The Position

The Gallery Host at Hyatt Place FW Hurst is responsible for creating a welcoming and exceptional experience for guests, ensuring a clean and inviting environment while providing outstanding customer service. This role involves assisting guests with check-in and check-out processes, addressing inquiries, and maintaining high standards of service and hospitality.

Requirements

• A minimum of one month of related experience or equivalent training.
• Previous customer service experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Strong ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment with constant guest interaction.
• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Ability to multi-task and manage difficult customer situations.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and treat others with respect.
• Knowledge of safety and security procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, verifying registration and credit information.
• Provide information to guest inquiries and coordinate special arrangements courteously and efficiently.
• Answer hotel telephones following brand-specific standards.
• Prepare, stock, and serve quality beverages and food products, adhering to recipe and presentation standards.
• Assist guests with food orders and serve items in a friendly and timely manner, using suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for guests by clearing tables during service.
• Follow brand-specific operational policies and procedures for cash and credit handling, safety, and security.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
