About The Position
The Gallery Director is a visionary thinker with the ability to balance the educational needs of St. Catherine University’s students with the gallery’s local, regional and national reputation for women-centered, gender-inclusive exhibitions and programming that align with and express the institution’s mission and values.
Requirements
- MA in Art History or an MFA
- 2-3 years of experience organizing exhibitions
- strong written and oral communication skills
- relationship building with diverse collaborators
- exhibition design, layout, installation
- budget management and marketing
- Experience with fine art collection management and/or consulting
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory and/or project management experience
- creative problem solving skills
- ability to multi-task
