About The Position

The Gallery Attendant at the San Antonio Museum of Art is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the museum's facilities, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities

• Observe and patrol museum facilities to safeguard and protect assets, staff, public, and collection.
• Report unusual, suspicious, or unsafe situations to the supervisor and act according to instructions or set procedures.
• Follow procedures as outlined in the Post Orders manual.
• Provide courteous, concise, and clear information to the public for a safe and secure museum experience.
• Monitor and input information into the museum's Fire and Security computer system.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Visitation Supervisor or Visitation Manager.
