This Graduate Assistant (GA) position in Alumni Engagement Communications involves managing the department's social media accounts across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, including content development, campaign management, posting, responding to inquiries, analytics reporting, and environmental scanning to improve engagement. The GA will also research and develop videos for alumni services and social media, interview and write alumni spotlight stories for online and print publication, and assist with the comprehensive marketing plan for Homecoming, including website and social media content. Additional responsibilities include managing alumni birthday program communications, utilizing basic design skills for digital marketing visuals, serving as a liaison to campus committees, working tablings to promote Alumni Engagement events, assisting in marketing research for alumni engagement needs (email, print, online communication), and supporting Alumni Engagement staff with other events and projects as necessary. The role is pre-professional and requires 25 hours per week.
