About The Position

An exciting opportunity exists at Raytheon for a GaAs Microelectronics Product Engineer to join our process performance and integration engineering team within the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department. The successful candidate would lead the department's product and process integration activities related to our GaAs PHEMT process technologies. The role of microelectronics product engineer has responsibility for the successful processing of compound semiconductor wafers to produce integrated circuits with performance, yield, and cost meeting the needs of internal, DoD, or external customers. The ideal candidate will have intimate knowledge of the performance requirements of microelectronics products, how they are modeled and designed to function within the process technology, and the fundamental device physics driving their performance. They will identify opportunities and lead initiatives to improve product yields and reduce performance variation of integrated circuits. In addition, the successful candidate will successfully engage the customer community (both internal and external) to craft long-term improvements to performance and reliability to support next-generation customer applications.
