About The Position

Third Grade Math Teacher is responsible for delivering rigorous, standards-aligned mathematics instruction that ensures all students develop strong problem-solving, computation, and reasoning skills. This teacher will play a key role in supporting students as they transition into upper elementary expectations while contributing to Trinity’s collaborative, student-centered school culture.

Requirements

• Oklahoma teaching certification (or eligibility) in Elementary Education or Mathematics
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Commitment to Santa Fe South’s mission and the students and communities we serve

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching mathematics in grades 2–4
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based math instruction and interventions
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills
• Experience working in diverse or high-need school communities

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, engaging math instruction aligned to Oklahoma Academic Standards
• Actively engage in Santa Fe South’s coaching model by seeking, receiving, and implementing feedback to continuously improve instructional practice
• Plan and internalize lessons with fidelity, including preparing materials, rehearsing instructional moves, and aligning to content team expectations
• Collaborate regularly with grade-level and content teams to analyze student work, plan instruction, and ensure strong alignment across classrooms
• Use data to plan targeted instruction, interventions, and enrichment to meet diverse learner needs
• Establish a structured, joyful, and inclusive classroom environment with clear academic and behavioral expectations
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Collaborate with instructional coaches and campus leadership to set goals and monitor professional growth
• Monitor student progress and communicate growth regularly with families
• Contribute to campus-wide initiatives and the continued development of Trinity’s academic program
