About The Position

Under direction, manages the operations of the school's main offices and its staff. Ensures that school office and related administrative activities are conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures, makes decisions involving office routines and procedures, and leads and trains other clerical staff. Supports the principal and the administrative team by carrying out administrative duties, such as first-line response, maintaining schedules, and reviewing correspondence for formatting, spelling, punctuation, and grammar before submitting for assigned administrator's signature. Responsible for interacting with various stakeholders of the school community and the school system.

Requirements

  • High School or GED diploma required.
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years of progressively more responsible experience, three of which shall have been performing clerical work in a school setting.
  • Training in personal computing sufficient to perform complex tasks working with text documents, spreadsheets and databases.
