As a Facilities Maintenance intern, you will be exposed to all aspects of maintaining Apple facilities.

Requirements

• Familiar with reading mechanical/electrical prints
• Prior internship(s), group or personal project exposure, T/A and/or work experience
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Great attention to detail
• Willingness to learn
• Strong analytical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Apple's mechanical, electrical, and project management teams
• Learn maintenance and operations for mechanical systems, including chiller plants, HVAC, and compressed air systems
• Learn to manage an OpEx budget with the Facilities Maintenance Manager
• Coordinate repairs and system outages with business units
• Analyze the health of mechanical and electrical infrastructure to responsibly forecast funds needed for maintenance and repairs
