Los Angeles Pierce College (LAPC) is seeking to expand its faculty by offering 2 Limited Full-Time Counseling positions for the Extended Opportunity Program & Services Program starting with the Spring 2025 semester. The assignment will be for 35 hours per week and may require some Saturday and evening hours. The Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is a state-funded program that provides support services to eligible students attending LAPC, aiming to encourage students to continue their education at the community college level. EOPS counselors are responsible for developing and providing programs, services, techniques, and activities that support students in addition to traditional college programs. All Counseling Faculty are expected to participate in department meetings, professional development activities, and college-wide activities.
