Responsible for pricing customers and market counterparties and successfully managing and covering the resulting risk (or supporting the pricing and risk management of customer transactions, in the case of the analyst/associate role). Responsible for providing analyses of market conditions, including foreign and domestic economic and political events, market trends and developments. Contributes to the safety and profitability of the business by ensuring compliance with established procedures and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • At least one year of experience in the investment and securities industry
  • Basic knowledge of the securities and financial industry and the various investment products and financial instruments
  • Basic knowledge of the FX markets and products
  • Strong aptitude for trading and market-making
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems
  • Ability to research and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong organization, planning, implementation and negotiation skills
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Strongly Preferred: Masters in a math, computer science, data science, or engineering

Responsibilities

  • Executes profitable trading and market-making of foreign exchange products.
