About The Position

Tractor/Trailer Mechanic - 2-Positions - Shop Environment Reply Now for Initial Interview (5-10 min phone call - local interview soon after) Now Hiring - 2 Positions SHIFT: Monday-Friday Afternoon Shift Excellent opportunity with Established Vehicle Fleet Company TYPE OF WORK: Fleet Class 7-8 trucks, and Trailers (Box trucks to Semis and Trailers) - CDL required. PM/BIT Inspections and Bumper-to-Bumper repairs (No Engine or Transmission Overhauls). POSITION: Tractor & Trailer Mechanic EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5-Years of recent shop work, or a combination of shop work and schooling/training.
Requirements
- Diesel heavy duty class 7-8
- Trailers (all repairs)
- Brakes
- PM inspections
- All general repairs
- Charging systems
- Transmission-general knowledge
- Must have your own hand-tools (facility has diagnostic, shop and specialty tools)
- Clean background
- Valid CDL
- Need Class A or B License (Class A Preferred for Road Test with Trailer)
