About The Position

This is a Federal Work Study Program (FWSP) student clerical position in which the student will perform computer and customer service-related duties in an office setting. Typical duties may include but are not limited to typing, filing, answering telephones, customer service, scheduling appointments, and Microsoft Office experience.

Requirements

  • Must be awarded work study through the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships.
  • Must be enrolled at least half-time for fall/spring semesters (5 hours for graduates, 6 hours for undergraduates).
  • International students must be enrolled full-time.
  • Must be enrolled in at least 3 credit hours to work during the summer.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Central Pantry in terms of volunteer and donation management.
  • Schedule and communicate with student volunteers.
  • Collect and record donations.
  • Stock and assess stock in the pantry.
  • Manage the pantry storage space.
  • Host donation drives benefiting the Central Pantry and other local organizations.
  • Assist with Community Engagement data entry and projects.
