OPPORTUNITY: • Administrative support role for currently enrolled students. • This is an off campus Federal Work Study Position. Job Location: Junior Achievement of Dallas, 3000 Pegasus Park Dr. Suite 720 Dallas, TX 75247 Hours: 15-25 hours per week, Hybrid role

Requirements

  • Must be an enrolled student at DeVry/Keller.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be a current student in good standing and possess a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester.
  • FWS fund eligible.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed, motivated individuals.
  • People who sit around, waiting to be told what to do will not do well in this environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently enrolled as a student at DeVry University (focus in Marketing, Communications, Event Planning, or related field preferred).
  • Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, iMovie) and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Attend JA Career Day events to capture high-quality photos and gather testimonials from students, teachers, and volunteers.
  • Assist with checking in attendees and ensuring event runs smoothly.
  • Support the setup and breakdown of event spaces as needed.
  • Edit videos from events for use in promotional materials and on social media platforms.
  • Assist with creating marketing materials for JA Career Days, including flyers, email templates, and social media posts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content that highlights the impact of JA Career Days.
  • Send reminder emails to teachers, volunteers, and participants prior to events.
  • Track attendance and gather event feedback for future improvements.
  • Help maintain organized event documentation and digital assets.
