About The Position

Required Qualifications Must be a current UNF student who is eligible for and accepts Federal Work Study ( FWS ) funding. Candidates should have advanced writing skills with excellent attention to detail in spelling, grammar, style, and accuracy; Communications emphasis work study participant must provide his or her own smart phone or her own photography equipment; Candidates should have excellent photography skills; expert computer skills including Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point for Graphic Design emphasis; Internet; Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of design software platforms including the Adobe Suite, as well as knowledge of a variety of content management technologies, platforms and delivery systems as they relate to current practices in graphic and communication design for Graphic Design emphasis; Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; dressing appropriately for Museum business; Punctuality; dependability; and an entrepreneurial spirit. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; Highly collaborative style; experience developing and implementing creative strategies; Demonstrated effective written, oral, and visual communication skills; proficiency in conception, designing, and producing and knowledge of related standards; Ability to follow through and meet deadlines while coordinating many current and long-range projects simultaneously; Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and discretion. Creative, energetic and fun. Preferred Qualifications Are of study in Communications; Marketing; and/or Graphic Design Must be able to indicate preferred area of interest: Communications and/or Graphic Design.
