About The Position

The Math Tutor position at Maharishi School is designed to provide targeted remedial support to students struggling with mathematics concepts and skills. Working one-on-one after school, the tutor assists students from grades 3 through 12 in improving their mathematical proficiency and confidence, contributing to their overall academic success. Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized math instruction to students in grades 3 through 12, adapting teaching methods to address individual learning styles and proficiency levels.
  • Maintain regular attendance and effective communication with students, parents, teachers, and division directors to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
  • Adjust teaching strategies to cater to students with varying levels of math proficiency, ensuring concepts are explained in a way that promotes understanding and mastery.
  • Track and assess student progress, identifying areas of improvement and adjusting teaching approaches accordingly to provide effective remedial support.
