Anticipated start date: TBD Supervisor: Upper School Division Head Position Status: This position is a salaried, exempt, full-time, regular, 10-month position. Successful candidates exhibit not only relevant experience and a robust educational background but also a passion for collaborating with children, an interactive teaching approach, adept interpersonal skills with both parents and colleagues, and a commitment to establishing and fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Teaching experience in secondary or higher education
  • Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

  • Teach 4-5 sections of relevant class(es) in a seven-period schedule
  • Teach a 1-week immersive, interdisciplinary class during Winter Term
  • Work directly with other Upper School teachers as part of a professional learning community
  • Advise students as part of the Upper School Advisory Program
  • Attend scheduled committee and faculty meetings, both during and after-school
  • Contribute to the larger school community by working carpool duties, participating in special events and open houses
