We are currently seeking a Piping Engineer I to join our Piping & Plant Layout Engineering team based in our Houston office. Please note this is a Pipeline requisition created for future hiring in Summer 2026.

Requirements

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with less than 2 years of experience.
• GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office software.
• Able to use AutoCAD or comparable 2D drafting software.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support project activities in the piping engineering and design department.
• Prepare and/or assist with issuance of engineering documents using the document management system.
• Perform calculations and provide input to Specialty Item Datasheets and Line Designation Tables.
• Assist senior level engineers and piping leads with project-related activities.
• Carry out pipe stress analysis work under the guidance of senior expertise.
