Broad River Retail is currently seeking a Furniture Restoration Professional to join our operations team in Spokane, Washington. As a member of this team, you will inspect, disposition and conduct repairs returning product to showroom quality while maintaining inventory with record keeping. Proficiently appropriate methods of repair for case goods, leather, marble, and upholstery are required as well as the ability to share knowledge and experience with others.

Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with manual labor
  • Experience with color matching & blending
  • Experience with case goods repairs including burn-ins & wood graining
  • Leather repairs including scuffs, holes, and tears
  • Upholstery repairs including structural/mechanism replacements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with power and hand tools
  • High level of attention to detail and professionalism
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to work independently and with a team
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted partnerships with business stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ability and Willingness to share knowledge and experience with others and embrace a collaborative approach to innovations and execution

Responsibilities

  • Assess and repair furniture proficiently with appropriate methods for case goods, leather, marble, and upholstery according to departmental standards
  • Read and understand parts lists
  • Ability to view product as a customer maintaining highest quality of perception
  • Produce a quality score of 92% or better for all repairs
  • Maintain organized and safe workspace for self and others
  • Exhibit personal excellence by accepting cross-training opportunities
  • Maintain personal and facility safety by following all material handling and warehouse safety guidelines
  • Follow company Attendance Policies
  • All other duties as assigned
