Furniture Production Associate – (Entry Level-Training Provided)
About The Position
Avis Furniture Company, a long-established manufacturer of hospitality and restaurant furnishings since 1959, is looking for motivated individuals to join our production team. This is a hands-on role where you will learn multiple aspects of furniture manufacturing. No prior experience is required — we provide training. We are proud of the strong team we’ve built. We are looking for dependable individuals who want to learn valuable production skills and be part of a long-term team. Requirements
- Reliable and punctual
- Willing to learn new skills
- Comfortable with hands-on work
- Team-oriented attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to work with tools and shop equipment
Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Follow company policies and safety standards
- Work as part of the production team to maintain quality and efficiency
- Assist in various areas of furniture production, including:
- Upholstery
- Wood assembly and fabrication
- Sanding and finishing
- Saw operation
- Shipping & receiving
- Material handling
- General shop support
