About The Position

Symbiotic Services is seeking a Furniture Packager to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. This
role is responsible for inspecting, preparing, and packaging finished furniture to ensure products
meet quality standards and are shipment-ready. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail,
takes pride in craftsmanship, and can safely handle physical job requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate hand tools including furniture steamer, heat gun, and blower
• Ability to identify and use correct nuts, bolts, and screws per product style
• Ability to assemble frames and mechanisms as required
• Strong ability to inspect upholstery work, identify sewing issues, and detect material defects
• Must be able to lift and/or move 100 lbs. or more
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret traveler documentation to verify frame style components, deck labels, law labels, leg color, suspension, shipping labels, and other required options
• Inspect finished pieces for straight seams, correct sewing, leather/fabric quality, labeling, and mechanism functionality
• Prepare furniture to ensure products are clean, complete, and ready for shipment
• Perform minor repairs as needed
• Collaborate with cushion stuffers and deluxers to ensure quality standards are met
• Conduct final quality checks before packaging
