About The Position

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or moving environment is preferred
• Proficiency in driving box trucks is a plus
• Ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects, including furniture, up and down stairs
• Experience as a delivery driver, commercial driver, courier, or in a similar role is beneficial
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to overcome challenges during the moving process
• Attention to detail to ensure items are properly secured and protected during transportation
• Physical stamina and strength to perform heavy lifting and manual labor for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Load and unload furniture and other items onto trucks or trailers
• Safely secure items to prevent damage during transportation
• Drive own vehicle to job destination
• Potential to drive 17 or 26 Foot box truck later in employment (with correct credentials)
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by dispatch
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth operations
• Provide exceptional customer service during the moving process
