About The Position

Broad River Retail is currently seeking a Furniture Handler Specialist to join our new IQ OPS Team operating out of our Fort Mill DC Location. This well-organized team will partner with DC and Retail Operations and be customer facing. This team will support our surrounding retail locations with inventory transfers, receiving of inventory, loading and unloading of furniture, furniture prep and assembly in addition to floor moves and repackaging of sold product.

Requirements

Manual dexterity and capacity to maneuver furniture
Ability to listen to and follow directions and instructions
Ability to lift 75lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
Physical labor and Customer service mindset
Oral communication and listening skills
Ability to work well with a team
Adaptability for changes in the work environment

Responsibilities

Loads & unloads trucks at warehouse and retail locations manually or with hand trucks without damaging products.
Identify and communicate any physical damage to IQ Ops
Professional Use barcode scanner to systemically receive inventory.
Assemble items for showroom display
Disassemble and/or wrap sold product for customer pick up or transfer.
Maintain buildings, grounds, tools and equipment as an area of pride.

Maintain personal and facility safety by following all material handling and safety guidelines.
Operating recycling machinery.
Sorting and processing dunnage.
Follow company attendance policy.
