About The Position
As a Furniture Delivery Dispatcher at Darvin Furniture, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive their furniture deliveries in a timely and efficient manner. This full-time position is based at our Distribution Center in Mokena, IL, where you will work four weekdays from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with Sundays and one weekday off. We are committed to providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, and we are looking for a dedicated individual who shares this commitment to join our Dispatch Department. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling deliveries, managing customer expectations, and coordinating with our team to resolve any issues that arise. You will need to be detail-oriented and possess a passion for customer service, as you will be the primary point of contact for our customers regarding their delivery schedules. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple tasks will be crucial in ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their delivery experience. Your key responsibilities will include contacting customers to schedule deliveries, collecting and processing Cash on Delivery (COD) payments, assisting assigned managers with customer issues, confirming delivery information, processing 24-hour bedding orders, answering incoming calls, reviewing delivery reports, and shipping complete orders. You will need to maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail to ensure that all deliveries are scheduled accurately and efficiently.
