About The Position

The Furniture Assembly Technician position offers part-time, ongoing assembly work for both in-store (Nationwide Office supply chain) and in-home furniture assembly. As an Independent Contractor with SFS, Inc., you will be assembling Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) Furniture, and there are also great opportunities for those who possess experience with TV Wall Mounts, assembling Gas Grills, Sporting Goods, Bicycles, and Display Racks. This role allows you to control when and how much you work, create your own work schedule, and be your own boss.

Requirements

• Must possess merchandising and/or commercial furniture assembly experience.
• Ability to carry and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to bend and stand for extended periods.
• Internet access and an active email address.
• Reliable transportation, as some travel is involved.
• Have own tools.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with TV Wall Mounts.
• Experience assembling Gas Grills.
• Experience with Sporting Goods, Bicycles, and Display Racks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble RTA Furniture according to client's written instructions.
• Understand plan-o-grams and perform customized category resets independently.
• Report client work completions on the same day as service.
