The Assembly Associate plays a key role in ensuring furniture and merchandise are assembled accurately and efficiently to support Distribution Center production goals. This position works in a fast-paced, team-oriented warehouse environment, assisting with assembly, quality control, and overall facility cleanliness while maintaining a strong focus on safety. What You’ll Do: Assemble furniture and related merchandise according to plans and blueprints using hand and power tools Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards for assigned tasks Inspect completed work using measurements, tolerances, and visual checks to ensure accuracy Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Support Distribution Center operations by assisting in additional areas as trained, including: Customer Pick-Up Tagging and Returns to Stock Prepping and Parts Unloading and Recycling Driver Helper duties General cleaning tasks

  • Assemble furniture and related merchandise according to plans and blueprints using hand and power tools

  • Physical Work Requirements: Ability to stand and sit for extended periods Ability to push/pull up to 250 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to move furniture using hand trucks and other equipment Must wear steel-toed safety boots Subject to drug and alcohol testing following safety incidents Work environment may include moderate noise, moving mechanical parts, and occasional exposure to weather conditions
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of assembly or furniture installation experience preferred
  • Enjoy hands-on work and take pride in assembling products correctly and efficiently
  • Have experience using hand tools or power tools
  • Can follow instructions, blueprints, and quality standards with attention to detail
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Are reliable, punctual, and show up ready to work each day
  • Can handle physical work, including lifting, pushing, and moving furniture safely
  • Are flexible and willing to assist in other warehouse areas when needed
  • Can adapt to a fast-paced distribution or warehouse setting
