About The Position

The Furniture Assembler position in York, PA, involves using basic hand tools to assemble products in a hands-on manufacturing shop environment, with a strong focus on quality and dependable work. Requirements

  • Comfortable using basic hand tools (drills, sanders, screwdrivers)
  • Experience reading both standard and metric tape measures
  • Open to feedback, willing to learn, and takes initiative to improve and grow
  • Focuses on quality and accuracy in daily work
  • Works well with others, communicates clearly, and shows up consistently with a positive attitude
  • Able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and bend, kneel, and lift up to 75 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of assembly experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products using basic hand tools like drills, sanders, and screwdrivers
  • Measure accurately using both metric and standard tape measures
  • Read and interpret shop drawings to correctly assemble products
  • Process parts on the Flatline and support departments with high-volume production needs
  • Operate equipment such as the assembly press and wrap machine
  • Build and assemble drawer boxes according_to the production schedule
  • Check your work to ensure everything meets quality standards
  • Inspect parts and check your work throughout the process to ensure all products meet quality standards
  • Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe
