About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Furnace Operators for projects located in or around Augusta, GA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $28-$32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Operate & oversee the liquid sodium silicate plant Start up & shut down plant equipment Operate & monitor production Monitor material handling system including computer controlled equipment Monitor gauges, charts, flow indicators & computers Perform quality control test on process samples Handle & dispose of hazardous waste safely Communicate issues, observations & instructions clearly bother written & verbally Operate & oversee the liquid sodium silicate plant
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to stand, walk & climb for extended period of time
