About The Position

As a Furnace Operator at Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc., you will be responsible for interpreting and following Product Manufacturing Instructions (PMIs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and production schedules to execute daily tasks effectively. You will support safety initiatives and follow detailed instructions from senior operators while balancing multiple tasks. Strong batch chemistry math skills are essential, as you will perform calculations across various units of measure. The work environment can be challenging, often requiring the use of safety gear in temperature-controlled areas that may also be hot, dirty, dusty, and humid. You will operate and maintain large-scale powder production equipment, complete minor to moderate machine adjustments, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow complex work instructions.
  • Proficiency in mathematical operations across all units of measure.
  • Experience operating plant equipment and industrial vehicles.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks involving frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to safely wear and work with a respirator.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • 0-5 years of experience in a related manufacturing or industrial field for level I Technician.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience for level II Technician.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience for level III Technician.
