Furnace Operator is an entry level position with no certification required. The purpose for an operator at this level is to learn and gain a basic understanding of brazing and heat treat operations. Operators must obtain a basic level knowledge to set up and operate a variety of vacuum, deep freeze, draw and hardness test equipment necessary to produce precision parts with direct supervision by a certified furnace operator (level II or above). Follow established standard work under general supervision in efforts to obtain certification. Must be able to be FAR145 certified. The operator will typically refer to problems or deviations to more experienced operators including Lead Technicians, supervisors or engineers. 4th Shift, Weekend Shift, Friday through Sunday 7:30AM – 3:30PM- Paid for 40 hours. External candidates will receive a $1,000 sign on bonus.
