Our Oshkosh client is looking for hardworking Furnace Operator Assistants to join their production team. Whether you’re looking for a fresh start or a way to build a career in manufacturing, they will provide the tools and the environment to help you succeed. The Role: What You’ll Be Doing You’ll start with the fundamentals and grow from there. Safety is our #1 priority, and we will guide you every step of the way. Phase 1: Load and unload cast iron parts into alloy baskets following detailed work instructions. Phase 2: Once you’ve mastered the basics, you’ll be trained to operate the furnaces, perform quality checks, and handle more technical tasks. Growth: We emphasize cross-training. There are significant opportunities to move into higher-level roles as you gain experience. Physical Demands & Environment Manufacturing is an active job. Candidates should be comfortable with: Standing, walking, climbing, and balancing throughout the shift. Lifting or moving up to 40 pounds (sometimes repeatedly). Working in an environment with heat, fumes, and noise (we provide all necessary safety equipment and air-conditioned break rooms for your comfort). Good peripheral vision and depth perception.
