About The Position
We’re seeking an upbeat, compassionate part-time Service Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure seamless and respectful funeral services by providing transportation support, greeting and assisting guests, and helping with service coordination. You may also assist with transporting casketed deceased when needed.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
- Valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- Prior customer service or transportation experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Drive limousines, service cars, and other company vehicles for funeral services.
- Greet, assist, and provide support to families and guests attending services.
- Organize and manage vehicle line-ups for funeral processions.
- Assist with the transportation of casketed deceased as required.
- Maintain a professional and respectful presence at all times.
