Requirements

Active Funeral Director license in the state of Ohio or ability to reciprocate
Minimum 2+ year of funeral directing experience
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to adhere to the professional dress code of the funeral home
Availability for on-call work as needed

Responsibilities

Manage arrangements, services, embalmings, casketing/cosmetizing, and removals as necessary
Coordinate arrangements with families and other stakeholders to provide compassionate funeral, cremation, and cemetery services
Assist families in selecting products and services, and finalizing financial arrangements
Prepare and oversee visitations, funerals, and memorial services
Ensure compliance with administrative policies and procedures and complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly
Maintain licensure and certifications to meet regulatory requirements
Assist in preparing and transferring cremated remains according to industry standards
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
