Requirements

• Hold and maintain a valid Funeral Director license.
• Pass the National Board Exam.
• Maintain a valid Driver's License.
• A minimum of five years of similar or related experience.
• Possess necessary licensure or certification to meet local or state legal requirements for Funeral Director functions.
• Possess and maintain necessary licensure or certification to meet legal requirements for embalming.

Responsibilities

• Meet with families to discuss their needs and preferences.
• Direct funeral services and oversee visitations.
• Prepare decedents for services.
• Ensure each service runs smoothly.
• Communicate effectively with families and team members.
