About The Position

Requirements

• Experience preparing and developing operating budgets and financial reports using Microsoft Excel or other financial software.
• Experience with program planning and project management.
• Experience with training, overseeing, and supervising the work of others.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CAPPS Financials or similar financial software.
• Knowledge of state agency rules and processes related to grant management.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance to and manages activities of the FCMB staff, including hiring, staff development, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Assists with escalation of time-sensitive issues and serves as a subject matter expert on policy, grants, and audit issues.
• Represents FCMB in meetings and workgroups, acting as a liaison with the Governor's Office regarding grant application processes.
• Reviews programmatic needs and federal requirements, monitoring operations and compliance, and making recommendations for improvements.
• Participates in disaster response obligations, which may require alternate shift patterns or locations.
