As a member of the MUSC Foundation team, the Funds Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the management, integrity, and utilization of approximately 2,500 Foundation funds. Reporting to the Funds Manager, this position is responsible for maintaining accurate fund data across systems, supporting fund establishment and modifications, and enhancing reporting capabilities to improve transparency and operational efficiency. The MUSC Foundation maintains total assets of approximately $1 billion, including $918 million in investments, $49 million in real estate, and the remainder in contribution receivables and other assets. Within this context, the Funds Analyst partners closely with Foundation Accounting, Gift Processing, and MUSC business managers to ensure fund structures align with donor intent, institutional policies, and financial reporting requirements. This role contributes to ongoing efforts to improve fund architecture, streamline processes, and strengthen data-driven decision-making across the Foundation.
