About The Position
Save the planet! One Sixty International is seeking outgoing, confident, and passionate activists to join our team in San Francisco. This full-time position offers a base pay of $24 per hour, with the potential to earn uncapped bonuses, bringing the overall earnings to approximately $35 per hour. As a fundraiser/canvasser for The Nature Conservancy, the largest environmental non-profit in the US, you will engage in meaningful conversations with the public to inspire them to become long-term supporters through ongoing donations. This role is not just about fundraising; it's about making a real impact in the fight against climate change and biodiversity loss. In this position, you will work Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm, heading out with your team to various busy streets in the area. You will have the opportunity to engage in fascinating conversations with the public, sharing the vital work that The Nature Conservancy does to create a healthier planet. Full, paid training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals with no prior experience in fundraising or canvassing. We are looking for highly confident, sociable individuals who thrive in a high-energy environment and are passionate about activism and making a difference in the world. This role is particularly suited for those with experience in sectors such as performing arts, creative arts, sales, customer service, retail, bar work, and hospitality. It is also a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates looking to kick-start their careers in the non-profit sector.
